Salida Trail: Extends from Steam Plant at West Sackett and G Streets and extends several miles east to the edge of town.
Steam Plant: Salida performing arts center and outdoor sculpture garden
Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area: Office at Sacket and G Streets. Managing agency for recreation in the Arkansas River Valley.
Salida Whitewater Park: Downtown river walk, picnicking, kayak play hole, Coors Boat Ramp, slalom course, and nice beach area.
Riverside Park: Overlooks the whitewater park and has a newly constructed Amphitheatre, kid's playground, and picnic area.
Centennial Park: Hot springs pool, group picnic area, playground, tennis courts, Chamber of Commerce.
Tenderfoot Mountain: Dormant cindercone mountain which rises 550 feet on the northeast side of Salida that has an 'S' showing proudly. During the holiday season this mountain transforms into a giant Christmas Tree. a.k.a "S" Mountain or Christmas Tree USA.
Salida Skate Park: First and G Streets, open from dawn to dusk.
Salida Regional Library: located at Fourth and E Streets where you can find free internet access. One of the best libraries in Rural Colorado.
Salida Museum: Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is located on U.S. 50 and I Streets next to the Salida Chamber of Commerce.
Harriet Alexander Airport: Located 3 miles west of town on County Road 140. Charter services available.
